Thomasville, a leading full-line furniture manufacturer, had experienced diminishing returns on their direct mail program. They sought a more efficient method to deliver coupons into the hands of interested consumers. Thomasville turned to Tropic Survival and sister agency CometAds to drive Memorial Day sales via a digital coupon distribution campaign.


Working with Tropic Survival, Thomasville capitalized on momentum created by its Memorial Day Sale, one of the largest sale events of the year. The CometAds team created a dedicated landing page featuring a click-to-download coupon. Accompanying digital ads were distributed across various digital ad networks including the Google Display Network and Facebook.

The offer to consumers was a $100 coupon off the purchase of $2,500 or more during Thomasville’s Memorial Day Sale. This campaign ran for three weeks leading into Memorial Day weekend.


Across the board, the results and the ROAS were simply outstanding. The Thomasville-branded creative received more than 3.7 million impressions, resulting in more than 78,000 visits to the landing page and 1,040 coupon downloads. In-store transactions associated with coupon redemptions generated substantial sales and yielded a 930% ROAS.
